Director’s Statement
What happens when the medical establishment tells you that invasive surgery is your “only” option?
This short, transnational film follows women from various parts of the world to Germany who refused to accept life-altering thyroid or parathyroid surgery as their only cure.
Bound by a shared trust in their own bodily integrity, these women, including myself, ventured to Germany to seek an alternative: Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA). The film foillows my journey from diagnosis to treatment with Dr Korkusuz in Germany.
