Director’s Statement
“I always wanted to make a documentary about the Findhorn community in Scotland and I took the opportunity to interview the people who came back to participate in the 50th-anniversary celebrations.
I was curious to know what attracted them to Findhorn all those years ago and how their experience of living in the community shaped the choices they made in life.
‘The Story So Far’ was my first venture into the world of documentary making which enhanced my passion to study film.”
Film Description
A Feature Documentary telling the story of 50 years of the Findhorn Foundation through the eyes of the people who live or have lived in the community.
The film takes the viewer on a journey from the inception of The Foundation in 1962 and follows its various stages of transformation. The documentary weaves between rare archive footage, current interviews and observations of various activities within the community.
