Director’s Statement
This short film explores the sensations of the body and our profound connection to nature. I wanted to focus on the nuances of the older female body and the wisdom it shares with the timeless elements of land and sea.
This film was made as part of the July 2024 embodied documenary filmmaking workshop, Bodies of Water, with Imprint Documentary Collective.
Film Description
On a secluded beach, Gay dances in harmony with the land and sea, finding freedom in nature’s embrace.
Pre-Screenings
On Friday 4th April 2025 Boath House, Auldearn kindly hosted a screening of the film for a small invited audience of family, friends and members of the Highland community.
